We’ve helped a lot of people move—some across town, some across the state, and some across the country. And in every move, we’re reminded that what we carry isn’t just boxes or furniture. It’s memories. Transitions. Sometimes grief… and sometimes survival.

Over time, we began to witness the quiet courage it takes for some clients to leave difficult—even dangerous—living situations. The strength it takes to walk away. The fear of not having help. The hope that someone, somewhere, will show up.

We couldn’t ignore that.

This initiative was inspired by our own co-founder—someone who knows exactly what that choice feels like. Who’s lived it. Who found a way forward. That experience grounded us in empathy and made it clear that this kind of support is deeply needed in our community.

So we created Bridge—a way to offer what we already do best, but for those who need it most. It’s our way of saying: you don’t have to do this alone.

If we can make the most overwhelming day of someone’s life just a little easier, a little safer, a little more dignified—that’s the kind of work we want to be doing.

How Bridge works

Supporting someone in crisis isn’t as simple as showing up with a truck. It takes care, flexibility, discretion, and a team willing to go above and beyond.

Through Bridge, we do everything we can to make those moments a little easier:

  • We donate a portion of our profits to directly support free or discounted moves for survivors

  • We offer reduced rates—or full support at no cost—depending on each person’s need

  • We provide priority scheduling for urgent relocations, and keep every detail confidential

We understand that not everyone can or wants to explain their full situation. That's why we’ve created a simple way for someone to let us know they’re in need:
